Mid-Day Money- Are you 'LinkedIn'???

When we think of social networking, I am sure the first sites that come to mind is Facebook, Twitter (Follow Us at twitter.com/PIFFClothing)... and yeah, even Myspace still. Keeping up with friends and family is cool, but if we are going to spend our time on these social NETWORKING sites, why not network with individuals who could enhance our career?

LinkedIn (www.LinkedIn.com) is a business-oriented network site used specifically for professional networking. The web-site enables you to meet business professionals or aspiring entrepreneurs who also seek to expand their business.

How great is that?? For example.. If you are a graphic designer looking for clients or a screen printer, it will be very easy for you to find on on LinkedIn. In addition, if you attend or are apart of a particular College, University or organization, you have the ability to stay connected with old friends.

The purpose of the site is to allow users (must be registered) to keep an in-depth list of business contacts to remain "connected" to. Members are urged to create an in-depth profile, upload your resume and gain mutual contacts amongst people that you already know. Employers are usually on LinkedIn looking for employees, so especially if you have a specialized degree or craft, I would suggest you log on.

If your an entrepreneur, or just someone who would like to gain new business connections, I would highly suggest that you join LinkedIn. It is definitely another step towards becoming 'Paid In Full Forever'... You know how we do.
